Legal Assistant
Lisa Englebert is a dedicated legal professional with a primary focus on landlord-tenant law and business entity formation. Since joining Traditions Law Group in 2018, she has worked closely with clients to navigate complex legal matters with clarity, precision, and care.

Beyond her legal practice, Lisa is a proud mother to one daughter and enjoys balancing the demands of her profession with the joys of family life.
Laura Justice
Legal Assistant
Laura Justice joined the firm in 2019 and is a Tuscaloosa native. She graduated from American Christian Academy and earned a cosmetology certificate from Shelton State Community College.
Laura is married to Samuel Justice and enjoys traveling, attending concerts, shopping, cheering on Alabama football and basketball, and spending time with family and friends.

Julie Rodriguez
Legal Assistant
Julie Rodriguez is married to Ben Rodriguez and is the mother of four daughters. Raised in the scenic Pacific Northwest, she moved to Louisiana in 2000 for ministry training, where she met her husband. Together, they served in ministry across Louisiana, Arkansas, and Alabama before settling in Tuscaloosa in 2004.
Julie joined Traditions Law Group in 2020, bringing a unique perspective and valuable skills to her role. She supports the firm’s attorneys in probate law, estate planning, family law, business entities law, and homeowners associations. Her work includes client communications, case management, legal research, and document preparation.
She balances her professional career with a strong commitment to both family and faith.
Cassidy Cavanaugh
Legal Assistant
Cassidy joined the firm in 2022 as a legal secretary, providing dedicated support in family law, juvenile court matters, collections, and homeowners association representation. A lifelong resident of the Tuscaloosa area and graduate of Brookwood High School, she is recognized for her warm personality and strong commitment to client service.
Outside the office, Cassidy enjoys spending time with her husband, Jon, and their two daughters, Delilah and Maggie. She also shares a close bond with her sister, Alora, and loves caring for her two dogs, Lucy and Sasha. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, movie nights, and trying out new recipes in the kitchen.

Julie Howard
Legal Assistant
Julie Howard joined the firm in 2024, bringing 34 years of experience as a legal assistant. She supports attorneys across all areas of practice, with a particular focus on domestic, juvenile, and criminal matters. A Tuscaloosa native, Julie attended Central High School and Shelton State Community College before beginning her long-standing career in the legal field. She was also an active member and leader within the Tuscaloosa County Legal Professionals Association until its dissolution.
An eight-year breast cancer survivor, Julie’s strength and resilience continue to inspire those around her. She is deeply devoted to her family, including her husband, Mike, and their daughter, Lauren. Outside of the office, Julie is active in her church and enjoys watching Lauren play volleyball and softball, spending time with loved ones, relaxing at the beach, shopping, and cheering on Alabama sports.
